Acrylic Pouring String Pull Abstract Floral Painting
Using acrylic pouring and the string pull technique, we made this brightly colored abstract painting. Check out the satisfying video and the beautiful outcome!
Friends, the colors we used in this fluid painting video are so bright and beautiful, we just love them! The final result is a rather abstract one, we pictured a flower, we’re really curious – what do you see?
We’ve once again played with the acrylic pouring technique, but this time we also tried the string pull. As you can see in the video, we used canvas, acrylic paint that was previously mixed with floetrol, water, and a few drops of silicone*, a cooking torch, and a few pieces of string.
*FYI, the proportions are:
1 oz of acrylic paint
1 oz of floetrol
0.5 oz of water
A few drops (4-5) of silicone fluid
We were so happy to find these bright colors, we couldn’t wait to try them in one of our art projects!
